Our Mission
More Yellow.
Yellow is more than a color.
It’s a feeling. A frequency. A choice.
At La La Land, our mission is simple:to bring more yellow into the world.
More yellow cups in your hands.More yellow energy in your mornings.More yellow light in our communities.
Yellow means warmth.Yellow means kindness.Yellow means showing up with joy, even when the world feels heavy.
Everything we create — from our coffee to our spaces to the way we treat people — is designed to radiate that light outward.
More yellow days.
More yellow moments.
More yellow.
Why La La Land?
We chose the name La La Land because we wanted to create a dream world — a place that feels almost like you walked into Heaven.
From the all-white design, to the pops of yellow, to the way you’re treated, everything is meant to make you feel like we took you somewhere.
To give you a genuine sense of joy.La La Land is meant to be a-political — a space beyond opinions, labels, or sides. No matter what you believe or where you come from, this is a place to connect, smile, and be human.
For a moment, over a cup of coffee, you step into a world built on light, warmth, and love for one another.
Our Mentorship Work
From the beginning, we’ve chosen to hire and mentor young adults who are aging out of the foster care system.
We do this because we want to — not because it’s a marketing strategy.
You won’t see signs in our stores.
You won’t see it advertised on the walls.
And it does not happen at every location, all the time.
This work depends on people, timing, and real-life circumstances. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. And sometimes, despite our best intentions, it fails.
That doesn’t mean we stop trying.
We’re honest about that because this isn’t a program built for attention. It’s built for impact — and real impact is rarely perfect.
We don’t ask you to support La La Land because of this.We believe we should earn your business through our product, our service, and the way you feel when you walk out the door.
This work exists quietly, behind the scenes, because that’s how we believe it should be done.
We’ll keep showing up.
We’ll keep learning.
And we’ll keep trying to do good in a real, human way.
La La Foundation
Founded in 2017, the La La Land Foundation began with a simple but powerful mission: to support foster youth and individuals in need through meaningful opportunity.
That vision came to life in 2019 with the opening of the first La La Land Kind Cafe, created as a platform for change through paid internships for youth transitioning out of foster care. Learn more about our work here Lalalandfoundation.com
